“The trip was very well organized and all details were taken care of; we had time to explore Borobudur and Prambanan, to have a cup of luwak coffee, to enjoy a good lunch, and to visit a very nice batic shop. The best part of the tour though, was our guide and driver Maxi. He is the kindest person ever, knowledgeable about local culture, and passionate about his job. Highly recommend this tour and particularly our guide MAXI!”

Review of Yogyakarta’s private Borobudur, Merapi and Prambanan tour, with temple access, jeep ride, timing, costs, guides and practical tips.

“We had a really great time. The temples are fascinating and the jeep ride up Merapi was really fun (unfortunately it was cloudy so we could not see the top). We were really lucky that there was nobody else so it was basically a private tour! One recommendation. When you get to Prambanan it is definitely worth hiring the local guides. It's very cheap (about £8) and you will get loads of good explanation.”

Merapi Volcano jeep tour was epic and sad at the same time. Prambanan also beautiful. Also check Jogya Tour Package for their Jomblang Cave and Timang Beach, I highly recommended it. please schedule them couple days apart. Unless you are physically fit, unlike me who…”
